About Studio 33/45

Studio 33/45 was born when I moved from Berlin to Australia in 2022.

Having spent years immersed in the world's electronic music capital, I noticed a gap here in Aus in the European electronic sounds I had grown to love. I wanted to help broaden what Australian listeners were exposed to and share the music that had shaped my own journey. That's how Studio 33/45 came to life: an online record store and studio dedicated to quality electronic music.

I discovered electronic music at 18, and it immediately felt different from anything I had experienced before. The connection was instant. Soon after, I bought my first turntables, started collecting records, and mixing. Fifteen years later, electronic music remains a huge part of my life, with a particular passion for club music in all its forms. 

The concept behind Studio 33/45 is simple: a carefully curated selection of electronic music records, personally chosen by me. Every record in the store has earned its place, selected for different moods, moments, and dancefloors. 

I'm constantly digging for new music to share with fellow collectors, DJs, and newcomers alike. Connecting with people through great music is the most rewarding part of running the store. 

While Studio 33/45 operates primarily online, you can also find me at record fairs, pop-up events, and community gatherings. Event details are always shared on Instagram.
